About Me – Sharoon, The Traveler with a Day Job
By profession, I’m a Marketing Consultant in the IT sector, helping tech companies grow their brand and reach. But outside the boardroom, I’m a full-time explorer, a storyteller with a camera in hand and a journal full of memories.
My journey began with weekend getaways from my hometown, slowly turning into solo trips across states, and eventually, immersive cultural experiences in remote corners of India. Every trip taught me something new – about the country, about people, and about myself.
I started Explore India Now to give back. To help first-time travelers avoid common pitfalls. To encourage sustainable and responsible tourism. To spotlight local communities and small businesses that make India magical. And yes – to build a tribe of like-minded travelers who believe that the best stories begin with “I was in India when…”
